The Value of Advising

My background in education taught me that effective insurance advising is ultimately about teaching. Most policyholders pay premiums for coverage they don't fully understand, making it hard to know if they are properly insured. Having a dedicated guide to educate and explain the details ensures you move forward with confidence and clarity.

The classroom has a large screen with pink background and Chinese characters, and there are educational materials and globes on a table in the background.

Education Abroad

Teaching in China taught me a powerful lesson in communication: how to bridge the gap when speaking to someone outside your world. Abroad, that meant bridging the gap between American culture and Chinese classrooms. Today, in my agency, it means translating complex insurance policies and Michigan laws into clear, actionable advice. While my license and industry experience give me a deep technical understanding of coverage, my focus is making sure you actually understand yours—no matter how overwhelming the jargon might seem.
